Providing mental health support across Hertfordshire
Welcome to Hertfordshire Mind Network
Hertfordshire Mind Network works across the county to support positive mental health and wellbeing. We provide a diverse range of services from our seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues across all ten districts of the county.
Funded locally, our services are available to all residents in Hertfordshire over the age of 18 and we offer dedicated services for 10-18 year olds.
Our aim is to make sure that no-one has to face a mental health problem alone.
We develop and deliver high quality training services to voluntary, statutory and private sector organisations locally (and nationally) with a focus on mental health and wellbeing.
Yesterday our team (Jess and James) delivered 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' sessions to year 5 and year 6 pupils at Pixies Hill Primary School in Hemel Hempstead! 🎒The children enjoyed a highly interactive lesson and games - where they discovered how they can connect, be active, learn, give, and take notice in their everyday lives - this included practical learnings like mindfulness breathing techniques 💚 You can find out more about this session and how to book here: buff.ly/3k5Q74f... This week we meet another of our half marathon runners - Jay! 💙"I decided to take on the Watford half for two reasons. Firstly I like having something to aim for to keep myself focused on staying fit and healthy. Secondly I was tagged in the Hertfordshire Mind Network Facebook post by my Mum and thought what a great idea to combine running with raising money for charity! The Watford Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 6th February and we are very grateful to all our runners taking part and raising vital funds for Hertfordshire Mind Network - a huge thanks to all involved!! 💜💙💚💛💜❤️To show your support for Jay please visit her fundraising page: buff.ly/3tGlQ0V#watfordhalf#halfmarathon#mentalhealth#charity...
