The Lazaret

A citadel on a hill with 4 towers. Lazaretos were buildings constructed near the ports of trading cities like Venice, to hold the arriving sailors in isolation during the plague epidemics. Nowadays they use hotels for isolation. This smal sculpture is one of a series of historical and fantasy buildings, totally handmade and unique. This one would be of interest to people who like history or have a good imagination. This sculpture has a cable access hole at the base to allw using it as a lamp. It would sit on a shelf in a living room or an office or a man cave and would provide a subject for discussion. Not many people have heard of Lazarets. This one is uniquely built on a hill, possibly a promontary near a port.

STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

It was awesome to see the principles of limited government applied in the real world! We heard from some every day (and even parliamentarians) about what was happening 'on the ground'. This really complemented our formal studies.
